April 19, 1998

The day stated with an air show which features more than 100 planes; many are active duty aircraft and all of the aerobatic crafts are on the field. The assortment of military craft included the United States Marine's AV-8B Harrier Jet Fighter, the B-1B Long Range Strategic Bomber, the F-117A Stealth Fighter, a variety of jet fighters, and Apache attack and Blackhawk helicopters.

That night there was an enormous fireworks show on the river, which is the largest annual fireworks show in America for the last eight years. The show had 34,126 shells & 46 tons of fireworks.
