We had several haunts in town, the primaries being the Kansas
City Steakhouse and the Old Corner Hotel. It was at
the Old Corner that many of our "leaving-do's" for those
able to depart were held, and it soon became a tradition to sign a
ceiling tile on those occasions.
Ian Cole's departure marked one of the more significant nights
out, and the first tile of record.

Somewhat later down the line, Alun was able to make his first
departure. Another tile was graced.
